THE PROMISE

Moses did just as he was told; and as the leaders looked on, water gushed out. (Exodus 17:6)

When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I the Lord, will answer them. (Isaiah 41:17)

I will give you abundant water to quench your thirst and to moisten your parched fields. (Isaiah 44:3)

And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded. (Matthew 10:42)

..… I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me.

If you only knew the gift God has for you and who I am, you would ask me and I would give you living water… People soon become thirsty again after drinking this water.
But the water I give them takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within them, giving them eternal life.

If you believe in me, come and drink! For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water will flow out from within. (John 7:38)

For the Lamb who stands in front of the throne will be their Shepherd.
He will lead them to the springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe away all their tears.
